This 8-day trip to Romania will be the first time we conduct a summer camp and we are super excited to open the trip for volunteer applications. We will arrive at Iași International Airport and will make our way north to Gura Humorului. It’s about 2,5-3-hour drive. Here we will spend the next week turning a room at the headquarter of a local orphanage into a library.
Approximately 120 children will benefit from this. There is currently NO library – the room was used for meetings and gatherings. We will be decorating and equipping the room with a cosy castle for reading, a beautiful mural and wonderful books to give the children of this school a place of enlightenment and fun. Simultaneously, we will do a summer camp with about 60 children between the ages of 6 – 16.
